WHY THIS WEB SITE?
Well there're lots of web sights dedicated to Trials however as far as I can see none dealing with the nitty gritty aspects of our beloved sport.
What I aim to do in these pages, apart from publicizing West Australian Trials is to give a more family orientated view of rock hopping from Observing, camping & transport to fee's, bikes (not just the latest and greatest!!!) and anything you out there want to dribble on about.
This is a new site (June01) written by a fairly internet illiterate rider, so bare with me, and don't expect no fancy Kickstart intro's.
Any inputs, gripes, etc about this site feel free to contact me on

ABOUT ME
38 years old and looking every inch an athelete I started riding trials in the UK many moons ago (1979) however this initial splurge only lasted for three years. Joining the Royal Navy in 1983, trials bikes and submarines didn't mix, so I let Steve Saunders take all the glory and put the sport on hold. Migrating to Australia in 1990, I took posession of a shiny old Fantic243 in 1994 and once again got the trials bug. Supported by my lovely wife i've progressed through the bikes and the $$$$$ and try to ride most weekends. An average B grade rider (depending on the size of the apendiges on the day) I attempt to make it with the young guns No:2 son included, and quite a few old ones too, however none of us are getting any younger are we.(well thats my excuse)
Thanks for your time
Yours Mark Austin
